Ugandan football fans who wish to travel to Russia for the 2018 FIFA World Cup do not need to obtain a Russian Visa. The Football Games are scheduled to take place from 14^th June to 15^th July 2018 in Moscow, Russia.

The Russian Federation has put in place a provision to have foreign citizens have easy entry to Russia to watch the World Cup using the personalized Spectator Cards (FAN-IDs) in both hard and soft copies and a valid  travel identification document/passport. The Conditions for the FAN-IDs is that foreign citizens must enter and leave the territory of Russian Federation between 4^th June to 25^th July 2018.

The FAN-ID is a document that all the spectators of the 2018 FIFA World Cup matches must have to access the Stadiums.

2. Visa free entry to Russia and visa free transit through the Republic of Belarus
3. Free use of public transport in Russia

A FAN-ID can be obtained upon purchase of a ticket for the 2018 FIFA World Cup and registration on www.fan-id.ru upon which the FAN-ID shall be emailed to the recipient.
